I thought I be getting Wellbutrin XL and they give me Wellbutrin SR - what is the difference??

I got 100mg once a daylight...
Will the SR still help near weight loss approaching XL can?
I have it for depression - I own never taken SR or XL before.what is the difference between them?I thought I be getting Wellbutrin XL and they give me Wellbutrin SR - what is the difference??

One is longer lasting than the other. Sorry I can't remember which one it is.
wellbutrin XL is extra long and SR is slow release, which does unsophisticatedly the same entity. these are made by different companies.
