As corny as it sounds write down a list of things that you are polite at or enjoy doing. Things that you've help people near, even if you feel they are small or lacking things they may mean the world to other relations. When you are feeling down refer to that inventory.
You may also consider going to see a counselor for self esteem issues. A lot of people don't because they are afraid of how it sounds or how it may look. Don't verbs about it, look at it for what it is, you are doing something for you, something to better yourself.
Replace them next to thoughts AND words from Scripture. Lots of quotes from Psalms!
